Therapy Dog Training and Volunteer Opportunities. 

Therapy dog volunteers work with their trained and certified dogs to provide comfort and support to people in various settings. They visit hospitals, nursing homes, first responders, schools, and other facilities, offering companionship and a calming presence to individuals who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, or loneliness. Therapy dog teams facilitate interactions between the dog and individuals, ensuring a safe and positive experience for everyone involved.  Sausalito Therapy Dog Program We're looking for pets and guardian teams to join the volunteer Sausalito Therapy Dog Program. Teams are required to complete an evaluation and certification program that prepares them to work in the community. Right now we are accepting applications for teams to visit First Responders.
